Alexander Hamilton Society at Yale.
Yale’s premier forum for rigorous discussion of foreign policy and global affairs, connecting students with senior policymakers, diplomats, and international leaders for substantive dialogue on the most pressing geopolitical challenges.
About Us.
We are one of Yale's premier undergraduate forums for engaging directly with the people shaping today's world. AHS fosters a vibrant intellectual community of Yale students committed to the serious study of global affairs and foreign policy. Through speaker events, private seminars, and small-group dinners with leading policymakers, diplomats, and international experts, members engage directly with the individuals shaping global strategy and statecraft. AHS programming also features interactive simulations, substantive debates on pressing geopolitical issues, and mentorship from experienced student leaders. In addition to cultivating rigorous intellectual exchange, AHS connects members with exceptional professional opportunities through career programming, internships, and nationally competitive fellowships in the fields of foreign policy and national security. These experiences equip students with the knowledge, networks, and community to pursue meaningful engagement in global affairs.

Established in 2017, AHS at Yale is a chapter of the The Alexander Hamilton Society, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides national programming in foreign policy, national security, and economic statecraft. Students active in AHS at Yale have access to the broader Alexander Hamilton Society network, which provides extensive resources and opportunities for students looking to pursue international affairs in any capacity.
